Additional Details

Transcription of an ottava rima version of the pseudo-Homeric mock epic on a war between frogs and mice. A member of the noble Pazzi family of Florence and a Knight of Jerusalem, Antonio de' Pazzi was a poet active in the later 16th century whose writings seem to have remained in manuscript apart from an edition of the Batrachomyomachia published in 1820.
