Vellum leaf from a Latin Book of Hours with miniature of Flight into Egypt within full-page floral border incorporating 3 historiated roundels,2 of them depicting the Massacre of the Innocents, text written in bâtarde hand in brown ink, 4 lines on recto and 15 on verso. Leaf approximately 142x92 mm, miniature 64x45 mm, roundels each 26 mm in diameter; slight flaking of paint in lower left roundel, minor smudge in blank lower outer corner on recto, bottom edge trimmed at slight angle.
