In 1900, Dudovich was awarded the gold medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris for his work as an illustrator and lithographer. He went on to become one of the great Italian poster artists whose impeccable style changed with the prevailing fashions, as his Art Nouveau images are of the highest Italian Liberty Style, and his Art Deco images are also exceptional.
