A selection of 13 F.S.A. photographs depicting rural life in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Florida. 1938-40; printed 1960-70.
Silver prints, the images measuring 184x241 mm; 7¼x9½ inches, and slightly smaller, and the reverse, the sheets slightly larger, each with a Library of Congress stamp and the RA number in pencil on verso.

The titles are: Spring planting in a project garden. Coffee County, Alabama, April 1939 * Natchez, Mississippi, August 1940 * Jorena Pettway sorting peas inside her smokehouse. She still has many fruits and vegetables which she canned last year.
