Oil over acrylic on masonite panel. 320x300 mm; 12 3/4x11 3/4 inches. Signed "M. Buehner" in lower left image, again on verso, and with artist's stamp on unattached backing paper. Laid into matte and archivally framed.
Provenance: Acquired by current owner from Every Picture Tells a Story, February 1999.
The book won the Children's Book Council Children's Choice Award in 1994, and the Utah Children's Choice Award in 1997.
