The program from Dr. King's services at Ebenezer Baptist Church and Morehouse College, including a short biography and a selection of quotations. The nine signatures are by: Undersecretary of the United Nations Ralph J. Bunche, "in sorrow"; Ebony editor Lerone Bennett Jr.; comedian Dick Gregory (42 days into his hunger strike); Michigan governor and recently withdrawn presidential candidate George Romney (father of Mitt); his wife Lenore Romney; Senator Edward Kennedy; one name we can't make out with certainty (Henry Harris?); presidential candidate Richard Nixon; and King's friend and advisor Harris Wofford. News photos show that Nixon, Kennedy and the Romneys were seated together at the service.
