Engraving, circa 1480-90. 79 mm; 3 1/8 inches, diameter. Ex-collection the Albertina, Vienna (Lugt supplement 5g, verso). Trimmed on or just inside the plate mark, with the three border lines still showing. A good, evenly printed impression of this extremely scarce print.
Lehrs cites only approximately 20 known impressions. We locate 4 impressions in North American public collections and have not found another impression at auction in the past 20 years. Bartsch 98; Lehrs 97.
