number 4 of 250 copies signed by sendak with an original drawing by him of peter rabbit. A complete collection of all 34 surviving restrikes printed from the original zinc plates (of the original 42 plates, 8 were never recovered) which were located and identified after nearly a century. The missing 8 plates were never recovered. Production and design was organized by Iain Bain in conjunction with Alecto Historical Editions. The colophon is Signed by Bain as well.
