Color woodcut printed in black and bright greenish yellow on 3 joined sheets of cream laid Japan paper, 1939-40. 192x3895 mm; 7 1/2x153 3/8 inches, full margins. Second printing, printed in 1967. Signed and inscribed "(II--1967)" and "Eigendruck" in pencil, lower margin. A very good impression of this extremely scarce, monumental woodcut.
While there was no numbered published edition, according to Bool, "The first editions of this print were printed in two colours (red and black)."
