Realist painter Max Ginsburg was born in Paris and trained by his father, painter Abraham Ginsburg. After relocating to New York as a child, Ginsburg attended the LaGuardia High School of Music and Art, and later obtained art degrees from Syracuse University and the City University of New York. He has worked as an illustrator for The New York Times Magazine, Fortune, and Playboy among other publications, and has painted covers or book jackets for many publishers. Ginsburg has also successfully established himself as an exhibiting fine artist and instructor. His paintings have been exhibited by the Museum of the City of New York, ACA Gallery, and the National Academy of Design, among other prestigious institutions.
