A brilliant, richly-inked impression of this extremely scarce, early print with strong colors and with the impression from the stone still showing on the sheet.
Krüger lists three different color variations for this print, none of which consist of more than 3 colors, like the current work. The impression illustrated in Krüger is significantly lighter, lacking much of the intensity of the current print. We have found only several impressions at auction in the past 20 years. Krüger 73.
