Michael Vollbracht was an illustrator and fashion designer who workeed for designers Geoffrey Beene, Norman Norell and Bill Blass, in addition to designing under his own name.
As illustrator, he worked for Bloomingdale's where he designed the store's famous Big Brown Bag, as well as the New Yorker which published his celebrity sketches for years.
