Additional Details

Michals' wry observations on "the human condition." The series opens with two sequential images of a long-haired protagonist standing on a N. Y. C. subway platform. In the third frame blurry points of light superimpose this figure who becomes increasingly indistinct. By the fourth print the encroaching oval-shaped light force reveals itself to be the Milky Way, which envelops the subject in a blinding white light. The final prints show our time-traveling hero receding into deep space, light years away from the 14th Street subway station. <
