Fetchit (aka Lincoln Theodore Andrew Skeeter Perry, 1892-1985) was a comic actor who starred in dozens of racially stereotyped roles. Known for his comic timing, he was among the first widely recognized African American film stars. He appeared in 54 films between 1925 and 1976 and was the first black actor to become a millionare.
