Probably from the second edition of Mills Atlas of the State of South Carolina, with the title slightly different from the preceding lots and with the Tanner imprint in the bottom right corner below the neat line. Nevertheless, maps from both editions are uncommon. Besides the usual details of the locations of the mills, post roads, churches, etc. this map also includes several tanners, blacksmiths, and taverns. Schwartz and Ehrenberg, page 251.
