first complete edition in latin of the Mishna, also including a Latin version of the commentaries of Moses Maimonides and Obadiah Bertinoro. Surenhuys (1666-1729), Professor of Greek and Hebrew at the University of Amsterdam, translated nearly two thirds of the tractates himself and used versions by other scholars of the rest.
