Leonard Misonne (1870-1943) was a co-founder of the Belgian Cercle d'Art Photographique, in 1900, along with C. Puttemans, A. Bourgeois, and M. Vanderkindere. Its principal artist, he spent forty years producing photographs on a single theme -- stormy landscapes in a late afternoon light. <
