22x29 1/2 inches. Paillard, Paris.

A campaign poster for the Paris legislature at the end of the 19th century, featuring a bright yellow sun shining on a woman with brown hair, her face outlined in orange and shaded in blue, holding a sign promoting the candidate. In the background a blue balloon is rising over a blue silhouette of Montmartre (the Moulin Rouge and Sacre Couer are both visible), an indication of the candidate's experience and the arrondisment he is hoping to win.
