The book, "to you dear Dixon / with best wishes," on the front free endpaper. 8vo, publisher's cloth, moderately worn, spine ends and edges fraying; front gathering starting to come loose, one detached plate laid in, moderate foxing to preliminaries and subsidiaries including inscribed page, Dixon's owner inscription at upper right of signed page, bookplate on front pastedown.
