Autograph Letter Signed, "Marianne," to Hildegarde Watson, recalling a lecture in Chicago where she remarked that certain quotes from literary figures including Ezra Pound express sentiments that "we have thought but not said quite so well," and describing her reactions to a watercolor drawing and to traveling through Rochester. With a 1 1/2 page Postscript Signed, "M.," recounting having been warned in New Haven Station to remove her pearl earrings. 5 1/2 pages, 8vo, personal stationery; horizontal fold.
