Additional Details

The collaborative efforts of artist Thomas Moran and publisher Louis Prang resulted in unquestionably the most realistic, majestic, eye-catching nineteenth century panoramas of the American West. The present chromolithograph of the Great Salt Lake is the final image to Moran and Ferdinand Hayden's 15-plate series: "The Yellowstone National Park, and the Mountain Regions of Portions of Idaho, Nevada, Colorado and Utah."
