Additional Details

One of the earliest plans of Quebec to be printed in America. Wheat & Brun cite a newspaper and 2 almanac printings of this plan (mistakenly identifying this almanac as Roger More's American Country Almanack). This issue of the plan contains trees in the bottom left corner and the reference F at the end of the city wall. The explanations of the references and a brief historical account appear on the facing page. Drake 5727 (who also cites a second edition, but with no indication of the differences between the two); Evans 8422; Wheat & Brun 84.
