A graphic, bird's-eye and fish-eye view of a Japanese port. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing Ishikari Bay, Otaru is an old sea port on Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan. Only 35 minutes from Sapporo, the city was a major economic center in the 19th century and is well known for it's historic buildings and canal. This poster bears an ink stamp "Loaned by Central Outdoor Advertising Agency Co. Inc., Cleveland, Ohio." It is unknown if this poster was ever realized.
