S. Military Telegraph from Santa Fe to Fort Bayard with a notation that the line was completed on 1 April 1876; ex-library, with inked stamps on verso; folds into publisher's gilt-lettered cloth case, front cover detached, with the publisher's label on the front pastedown listing prices, contemporary presentation inscription on the front pastedown "To Mr. John MacMullan by Lieut.
