Signed "Dik Browne" in lower center panel, dated in last panel and again, in margin at upper right. Written on loose backing board: "Presented to Christina Tippit by Mort Walker at Mort's 50th birthday, September 1, 1973 (though his actual birthday is September 3). This sunday page appeared August 19. 1973."
