Inscribed and signed with: "From my Mercury Files, Gordon Cooper, Mercury Astronaut" on the cover page. Comments from Shepard include his pilot performance, capsule engineering issues, photography, and operational procedures. In a memorandum with the debrief, managers make note of extremely poor discipline during the debriefings, a fact rarely know to the general public at the time.
