The Marquis refuses to correspond with Arnold who succeeds Phillips in the command. The day before yesterday Simcoe & Tarlton formed a junction at Hick's Ford. Yesterday Majr. Dick's corps & a small party of Curtis attacked three gun boats, took one with two twelve pounders, killed 30 men & made 13 prisoners.'
