Additional Details

This hand-inked and painted cel setup of Kellogg's cereal mascots Snap, Crackle, and Pop playing baseball was produced by the production company founded by Jimmy Murakami and Fred Wolf. Murakami Wolf is best known for the classic Harry Nilsson-penned television special The Point! (1971), the "Mr. Owl" Tootsie Roll Pop commercial, and their later work on the series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The style of this commercial is much closer to the early work, demonstrating their roots in indie animation.

Note that the frame number is the same on each cel layer, indicating that this is a key setup.
