Two large octavo volumes, pages enlarged throughout, each mounted, and extended to two volumes with the addition of 126 extra plates, some folding, some hand-colored, mostly portraits and landmarks; bound in attractive uniform green morocco, ruled, tooled, and lettered in gilt, spines slightly faded, very good, 10 x 6 1/4 in.
[Together with] another extra-illustrated copy of the same title, edited by William Munk, London: Longmans, Green, & Co., 1884, octavo, with approximately eighteen added plates, bound in full dark blue morocco, by Root & Son, tooled in gilt, in very good condition, 7 3/4 x 5 in. (3)
