Single octavo-format signature on laid paper, consisting of thirty-six leaves, inscribed on nearly every page in Italian, in a single professional secretarial script, pale brown ink; the text has not been examined for content, but may be a list of accounts; bound in a Medieval manuscript leaf from Saint Augustine's Epistles with initials in red and blue and a large four-line initial with large complicated marginal embellishment (much abraded and trimmed); with three other trimmed scraps of early manuscript leaves on parchment loosely inserted, 7 3/4 x 5 in.
