Six parts bound in one quarto volume, sizes vary slightly, part three illustrated with large engraved folding map of Goa and the region, some browning to contents, bound in full mottled calf; some worming and browning; 7 5/8 x 5 1/4 in.

Mascarenhas represented the Portuguese government in Goa between 1744 and 1750. These works are compendia of current local events in the region, with special attention to the Maratha Confederacy.
