Folio, second edition edited by Joachim Vadian, title page printed within large woodcut compartment by Hans Franck with his initials and 1519 in bottom right corner; divisional title with a border in compartments; lacking the Apian map; many woodcut initials; Gg6 blank but for printer's mark present; bound in full 18th century sheepskin decorated with large gilt arms of Karl Theodor von der Pfalz (1724-1799) on both boards, gilt-tooled spine signed "B.P." in the lowermost compartment, with large duplicate inscription on ffep; small ownership stamp to title page; marginalia, a nice survival beautifully printed; 11 5/8 x 8 in.
