Limited edition, folio; number 204 of 750 bound copies signed by Paz and Motherwell in pencil on the limitation; Spanish and English text translated by Eliot Weinberger printed in red and black on Arches paper; with 27 lithographs by Robert Motherwell, original guards preserved; bound in publisher's cloth, with a mounted lithograph to front board, spine lettered with black; with the original prospectus laid in; housed in the original matching cloth clamshell box; 21 1/2 x 18 in.

Motherwell and Paz were close friends and often dedicated works to each other. This collaboration arose Motherwell visited Mexico in 1967. The folio was first published in 1981-82. The present edition comprises texts in Spanish and English printed in two colors on Arches paper; the richly printed lithographs were executed at Trestle Editions in New York.
