NAPOLÉON; AND OTHERS. Collection of 32 Documents and Letters Signed by Napoléon, his Marshals, generals, aides and ministers, each inlaid or tipped into a mount, and the whole bound in gilt-lined red morocco boards with raised spine bands. Interior covers inlaid with gilt decorated green morocco which frame a color-lithographed scene on celluloid (the front depicts Napoléon in the snows of Russia, while the back shows him at Waterloo), both faced by watered green silk endpapers. Larger documents have been folded to fit into the volume. Many examples bearing penciled notations by autograph dealer Mary Benjamin. Numerous engravings. 8vo. Vp, 1778-1852
