NASA Proof Strike Plate of the Apollo Program Medallion for the Apollo 11 Lunar Landing. A 1/16-inch thick stainless steel plate with a die-proof strike on each side. The 2.5-inch circular strike has the Apollo - NASA Program emblem with "Lunar Landing July 1969" written along the outer ring. The reverse has the Apollo 11 crew names and stamped signatures with the wording: "The die for this medallion was carried to the Moon and back by the crew of Apollo 11 in July 1969."
