Additional Details

"I am favored with an opportunity of writing to you, which I have not before had since I heard of your arrival in Gloster. The troops which form your command will amount, I imagine, to about two thousand men. Colonel Innes having for a considerable time commanded a brigade on that side, I wish him still to continue in a like command, and that the men who have already served under him form part of it."
