"Am informed by Capt. Pryor that he will be able to furnish you with about four hundred stands of arms & the cartridges written for; which shall be immediately sent on to you. What can be done for you in the medical way, I cannot yet inform you." On the address panel is an additional Autograph Note Signed by Robert Andrews as secretary of Virginia, emending the governor's promise: "Not more than 250 stands can at present be depended on."
