"Thank you for the copies . . . so handsomely printed, a compliment which is above the merit of compositions themselves. . . .
"The translation of the Breviary was the work of Robert Williams of Bridehead, Dorsetshire, and Samuel F. Wood . . . . I supplied the translation of the Hymns. When it had advanced a certain way, [John?] Keble . . . interfered & it was abruptly stopped. My own copy . . . is just like your friend's. It has no title page, and ends abruptly at p 192 . . . .
