[34], 530, [8] pages, including the initial privilege leaf, half-title, and final ad leaf. 4to, 245x190 mm, contemporary calf gilt, rebacked retaining original backstrip with morocco lettering piece; apart from light offsetting from portrait onto title and dampstaining in outer margin of last several leaves, internally clean and bright. Transcription on front free endpaper in 18th-century hand of the epitaph on the monument to Newton in Westminster Abbey. Signature of George Harvest of Magdalen College, Cambridge, dated 1734; bookplate of the Cambridge geophysicist Sir Edward Bullard (1907-80). London: William & John Innys, 1726
