Feiffer commentary: I met Nick for the first time when he was working in a children's bookstore in downtown Manhattan called Books of Wonder. He was a clerk, and I was having a book signing for one of my children's books. He came over to me and we started talking and we haven't stopped to this day. I was a mentor of his. And he has had far more success with Bad Kitty, his long line of illustrated books for young readers than I've had with most of my children picture books. But he's a lovely guy, so I can only be a little pissed off at him.
