Additional Details

McCann is a multi-talented and prolific British artist, photographer, designer, writer, director, and producer. His work has centered mainly around British heritage sites and historical figures, with a long run of productions for the BBC and commissioned work for royal families. His paintings often reflect a wicked sense of humor, sartorial style, and exaggerated fantasy. The life and legacy of the brazen, bisexual poet Lord Byron has been a recurring subject for McCann.
