The beautifully-lit and stylized images were often meant to showcase a performer as well as the bespoke clothing she was wearing. Silver prints, four of the images measuring approximately 9 1/2x7 1/2 inches (24.1x19.1 cm.), one 10 1/2x13 1/2 inches (26.7x34.3 cm.), the sheets slightly larger, the largest with Muray's blind stamp on recto, and each with his credit stamp, four with a King Features Syndicate stamp, three with the sitter identified in pencil, and two with a full or partial caption label on verso. 1920s
