An early poster for the sea baths located in Charlottenlund, a suburb to the north of Copenhagen. Dorph was a Danish painter who was well-known outside of Denmark through paintings exhibited at the 1891 Jubillee Exhibition in Berlin and at the Chicago World's Fair 1893. He and his artist wife, Bertha Dorph, ran The School of Drawing and Art Industry for Women. This is his only known poster.
