Connie Trimble worked as a sales associate at Leo Castelli's East Seventy-Seventh Street gallery from the late 1950s into the 1960s. This was right at the genesis of Leo Castelli's gallery, having opened in 1957, rapidly gaining notariety for predicting the rising stars in the artworld. In her time with the gallery Connie befriended many of the artists represented, including Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, and Norman Bluhm.
