"Although Norman Fraser was by far the most prolific artist commisioned by Canadian Pacific, he has remained an elusive figure. We do know that he lived in Montreal from 1930 to 1953 and that he was commissioned to design dozens of posters in that period" (Canadian Pacific p. 58).
