Nash's Cubist-inspired illustrations were initially considered somewhat experimental for the Nonesuch readership, but they are now beloved as some of the best ever commissioned by the press. This is also the first appearance of Rudolf Koch's Neuland type in England, before it was gained popular use in British advertising.
