Some last minute mail is passed aboard Train 202 * A Lansing café, dirty dishes. Together, 2 photographs from A Day on the Abingdon Branch. Silver prints, 15 1/2x19 1/4 and 15x15 1/2 inches (39.4x48.9 and 38.1x39.4 cm.), each with Link's signature, print date, negative notations NW 1255 and NW 166, and additional printing notations, in pencil, and his copyright hand stamp, also with the negative notation, in ink, on verso. 1955-56; printed 1995-97 (2)

Additional Details

The Last Steam Railroad in America, pp. 120 and 123.

According to Link historian Thomas Garver, both prints are scarce in a 16x20-inch format. Also, "the first image represents Winston's inaugural ride on this train."
