"As for the photo with the tat[t]oo (tatouage), I have no copy . . . . I did not paint my face. It's just a photo-portrait; I put a pattern upon it (with the holes and stripes cutted[sic] out) and I sprayed two colors (copper and ivory white) over it. . . ."
