Additional Details

Lowell (1871-1956) was an active illustrator for six decades. He was a member of The New Rochelle Artist Colony which also included his friends Norman Rockwell, Coles Phillips, and J.C. Leyendecker. Lowell's steady stream of clients appreciated the quiet humor that infused his works. He was inducted into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame in 2010.
