Signed in far right image. Losses, creases, and closed tears along edges, most extreme to lower right corner, archival repairs on verso. Accompanied by the original Art Supplement produced by the American Lithographic Company, New York.

Additional Details

Lowell (1871-1956) was an active illustrator for 6 decades. A member of the artist colony in New Rochelle, his friends included Norman Rockwell and J.C. Leyendecker. Lowell's steady stream of clients appreciated the quiet humor that infused his works. He was inducted into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame in 2010.
